Induction Class 2

Today was my first in-person class. It was exhilarating being back in the classroom setting, being able to interact with people while simultaneously learning new and interesting things! the first task we were given was making prints out of line art we did on collages out of torn-up magazines.

my favourite part of The whole process was making sheet prints and seeing the prints come to life in form of different products with the help of various Apps. During this I discovered my strengths lie in the same place, creating prototypes and prints digitally, which was a new and exciting learning experience and choosing a colour scheme and the social aspect of the class was also something I really enjoyed.

But during this process, I also noticed I had a hard time being able to let go of the perception that everything needs to be perfect and learned it is more about focusing on being able to express the design and not on how perfect my drawing is. On the other hand, my time management needs a bit of work as well, even though I was able to complete my work on time in the given timeframe at the end, I was cutting it close. I want to improve in the future by going in with a game plan and sticking to the time limits so I can get the desired results without exceeding the given time frame.

All in all, I loved being back in physical classes, interacting with new people and learning about them and their cultures as well as learning from professors and teachers in person and face to face.
